Model Gear: More Than Fashion, It’s Purpose

Model Gear: More Than Fashion, It’s Purpose

This season has been full of purpose, inspiration, and growth. I recently had the opportunity to walk in Once Upon a Stitch in Minneapolis, led by the talented Kiona Cook, and styled by the incredible Twin Cities stylist and makeup artist, TrayStyles. It was an amazing experience supporting young designers and entrepreneurs while celebrating sewing and fashion design as an art that deserves to continue thriving for future generations.

I also had the pleasure of supporting Smokin’ on the Runway alongside Amber's Foundation Group, continuing my journey of connecting fashion, confidence, and community. With upcoming Juneteenth vendor events and more opportunities ahead, I remain committed to promoting positivity, curvy confidence, and self-expression.

In other news, Model-Gear is back in vendor mode. This year we are particpating in the For The Culture: Juneteenth Celebration in West St. Paul.

And, we will be featured in our very first model show this year! I'm so excited. More news on that coming soon!

Thank you to everyone who continues to support my journey, my brand, and my vision. Model Gear is here to stay, and I look forward to continuing to shine throughout the Twin Cities and beyond.
