2025 was a year that tested me, stretched me, and ultimately reminded me of who I am.
I wear many hats — fashion model, plus-size advocate, healthcare IT professional, mentor, and entrepreneur — and this year required me to show up fully in every role, even when it felt heavy.
Fashion: Growth, Falls, and Strength
The runway remained a place of growth for me in 2025. I was grateful to walk in three fashion shows this year, each one reaffirming my love for the craft and the importance of representation.
One of the most defining moments came in March when I experienced a fall off the runway. It was unexpected and humbling, but it did not define me. What defined me was getting back up, continuing to walk, and staying committed to my purpose as a plus-size model — to be visible, confident, and unapologetic.
Healthcare IT: Staying Grounded
My work in healthcare IT continued to ground me throughout the year. It demanded focus, adaptability, and resilience — qualities that also carried me through personal and professional challenges. Balancing healthcare with fashion is never easy, but it remains deeply rewarding.
Model Gear: Purpose Beyond Products
Model Gear continued to grow as more than just an online store. It represents confidence, creativity, and showing up authentically. Even in a tough year, the brand reminded me why I started — growth doesn’t always look loud, but it is always meaningful.
Still Standing, Still Dreaming
2025 brought both highs and lows, but through it all, I am still here. Still building. Still believing.
Looking Ahead to 2026
As I step into 2026, I do so with clarity and hope. I am looking forward to more modeling opportunities, fashion coordination, mentoring, continued growth in healthcare IT, and expanding the vision behind Model Gear.
